How do I book a room?
Booking
a room requires signing a contract and supplying a deposit of at least ½ of the
hall rental fee, excluding the bar fee, if any. With our rates being so
low, many clients pay the entire balance up front, but this is up to you.
When Can I decorate the room?
A
member of our hall set-up staff will contact you during the week (usually
Monday-Wednesday) prior to your
event to go over your room set-up preferences. During this conversation
you may schedule a time to access the room to decorate. Normally, we will
open the doors at about 9 am the day of your function. Access may be
granted the day before, if no other function is scheduled. If you need to
speak to a set-up manager sooner, call (603) 742-5833 and leave a message.
They will return your call as soon as possible.
What is allowed for decorations?
Most decorations are acceptable. Candles are OK as part of a
centerpiece. No decorations may be attached or hung (taped or
pinned) in facilities without prior approval of the hall representatives. With
approval, decorations may be taped to woodwork or hung from light fixtures.
What does the kitchen usage include?
Our
spacious kitchens offer a refrigerator, microwave, commercial-size coffee maker, can opener,
lots of counter space, large sinks, 1 gas stove/oven in the Upstairs Hall kitchen
and 3 stoves/ovens in the Main Hall. We do not supply any
utensils, silverware, dishes, pots, pans, etc.
What kind of tables do you have?
We
offer standard 5 foot round tables which seat 8 guests and 6 & 8 foot Banquet
tables. The Auxiliary Room uses a smaller version of the round tables.
Do you offer table linens?
We do
not offer table linens. For this you could contact
Taylor Rental.
We can provide a good quality paper table cloth, at a small charge. Ask
your hall set-up manager for details on this when they call to discuss the table
layout with you.
Do I have to clean up the hall afterward?
We supply
several lined garbage cans for your use. You may take care of the big
stuff, like plates and cups and what not. Our staff will be happy to clean the
rest of the hall for you.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
The Martel
Roberge Function Center carries a full New Hampshire liquor license, so bringing
alcohol into our facility is forbidden. Champagne and wine for a toast
must be purchased thru bar per NH Liquor Commission.
Our professional bartenders serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, so
there is something for everyone. In addition to wine, beer and mixed
drinks, they serve soft drinks, juices and water.
Do you offer chairs for wedding
ceremonies at the gazebo?
Our
gazebo manager will arrange up to 30 chairs for you for a $50 fee. If you
require more chairs, we suggest that you contact
Taylor Rental.
